Why did you get into real estate? I grew up on a lake in Connecticut and knew all my lake shore neighbors as well as their homes. I fell in love at an early age studying lake homes and watching the process of transferring ownership. When I was in my early 20s, I had an opportunity to learn more about the process of buying and selling real estate. I jumped at the chance to launch a lifetime career. I’ve enjoyed a lifelong love affair with this wonderful industry!
What are you most proud of in your career? Over the years I have worn many real estate hats, including selling previously-owned homes, new construction, land, transferring executives to relocate to their new job assignments, managed sales offices, and building brokerages. I had the honor of helping hundreds, probably thousands, of families through selling their homes, and I’ve helped change the lives of hundreds of people by helping them transition into a real estate career.
What do you enjoy about selling homes? As people’s lives change, I am always honored to help them make the major change of selling their houses and buy new homes. I enjoy, and take pride, in making the process a smooth transaction for my clients.
What do you enjoy most about living in the Lake Minnetonka area? Truly, I like the people. I have formed many friendships through racing sailboats on Lake Minnetonka, playing golf, working with wonderful clients, and being surrounded by a loving family. I also enjoy the four distinct seasons in Minnesota.
What are your plans for July 4th? We always try to spend July 4th up at the cabin with family. We hope for good weather to be able to sail our family boat, the New Song, around the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior.
